Members of the Colgate University Class of 2014 received their diplomas May 19. CNN's Gloria Borger '74 delivered the commencement keynote. A total of 750 students graduated during Colgate's 193rd commencement ceremony.

The State University of New York at New Paltz has announced its Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester. Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

SUNY New Paltz recently selected 42 students to Who's Who Among Students, a nationally recognized award program for college students.

Students who began their studies before Fall 2012 must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify. Those who entered the university after Fall 2012 must earn a grade point average of 3.5.
